Vox Sound Equipment Limited Super Foundation Bass cab

A Vox Sound Equipment Limited Super Foundation Bass cab from 1969 - note the handles let in the sides. There is still gold string round the cabinet however. Twenty-two screws secure the back. The original Goodmans 18" driver is still in place. The cab's grille cloth has been renewed.

From 1968 these single-speaker Super Foundation Bass cabs were produced in parallel with twin speaker versions, sometimes termed "Super Twin Foundation Bass" units. These last, which were the same size as the single-speaker variety, did away with the port at the foot of the cab (see below).
