A "Vox Sound Equipment Limited" Supreme from Denmark
A Vox Supreme exported by VSEL to Denmark, probably in Spring 1969. Note the presence of the standby circuit (two switches on the back panel).
In Denmark the voltage selector was removed and the power supply hard-wired at 225v to bring the amp into conformity with Scandinavian electrical legislation.
The plate of the main Danish agent Alfred Christensen was added over the hole left when the selector was removed. In Denmark, Supremes were "A1".
Visible date codes are "9B" on the RCA transistors = February 1969; "10-68" on the main filter capacitors = October 1968; and on one of the Mullard "mustard" caps "D8N" = last quarter of 1968.
