Jennings Musical Industries Supreme speaker cabinet - wiring
The wiring circuit outlined below is likely to have been used for most early Supreme speaker cabinets. A single 2uf capacitor protects both horns, which are wired in series, from potentially damaging low frequencies.
The arrangement represents a departure from that devised by the JMI engineers for AC100 speaker cabs produced from late 1964 until mid 1967. These last had two capacitors, one for each horn.
The outline below records somewhat asymetrically - three dimensions flattened rather severely into two - the general run of the wiring in a JMI cab from mid to late 1967.
